Small, compact aisles. No way to alert anyone that I needed help at the deli so one worker was helping a customer at the sandwich station but had to clock out so I had to wait like 10 minutes for someone to come help me. Decent selection but I recommend going to the Ewa Safeway for a better selection and less claustrophobia.
This Kapolei Safeway is one of the better ones on Oahu. Almost on par with Hilo. Very nice employees. Great selection, fresh. About as good as you can get on an Island. Using your rewards card, you can do pretty well on prices. I shop here or Costco almost exclusively, and daily.
Lights in the freezer wasn't turned on. This Safeway is not well lit or feels welcoming. And they always have 1 person on the register when a line of 5+ people formed a line. My advice go to foodland down the street. Or if you must go to a Safeway, go to the Ewa Beach location
Decent selection in a compact clean organized store. Convienent to stock up basics while staying at Ko'olina resorts. Easy to find, not too busy, plenty of parking.
