Highly recommend getting the Home Depot app for your phone. Just search for something and it tells you which aisle to find it. Don't have to struggle with trying to find an employee.
Not too busy, and consequently not well staffed. Typical to have only one cashier and lines at self check out. Bathrooms are at least cleaned, unlike Lowe's in Waikele. Lumber department doesn't have half the selection that Lowe's has if you need special woods like walnut, oak, hemlock, etc for woodwork. Lumber selection caters to contractor type jobs. Usually no shopping carts available inside the store on a weekday afternoon, and forget finding a limber cart anywhere but outside.
Overall, this location is the same as most other Home Depots. Large building and barely enough workers to help.
Also, everytime I go there to get keys copied, there seems to be a long line. Make sure you go early
It's okay, and very generally speaking it is very difficult to find somebody to help you locate particular products and even more difficult in most cases to find somebody who knows what they're talking about insofar as what product to use, how to use, alternatives, Etc. Do your homework first if possible, know what you're going to purchase, look it up on Home Depot's website, call the store to ensure that the item you wish to purchase is in fact in stock because, as I have found, what is listed on the website and what are actually in the store may be two different things. I suppose it is this way at all big box hardware stores nowadays, it just so happens that Home Depot is the closest and most convenient for me to shop at. Otherwise I would not.
This may sound sexist, it's not meant to be, but practically all of the females that I have asked for help had no idea what I was talking about whether it was about power tools, lighting, electrical, etc. The guys are all amazing and could tell me everything off the top of their head, even where to find the stuff.
