This hotel has a business stay feel. Not a whole lot of character but everything you need is on site. There is a basic restaurant and a bar. A small pool & jacuzzi. The hotel has a fee for parking. All very accessible and friendly staff. Many off property restaurants one block away. There is a mall 6 minutes away (driving) with many food & shopping options and a supermarket also very close. The freeway on ramp is just minutes away. The water park is close. No views and the beach is a short drive from the property
I was able to stay at this wonderful hotel for the Grand Opening, and for several days after. Lets start with the staff, Reid(General Manager) was wonderful!!! He is congenial, and quite knowledgeable of all the things that one needs to know to have a wonderful Hawaiian vacation. Chef Todd is Top notch, he was settling in to his new kitchen, with his new personnel, and the food was excellent!! I am looking forward to great things from he and his staff. I expect this will be a destination restaurant, meaning that even if your not staying here, you will still want to eat here because of the excellent quality and price. All of the waiters and waitresses were awesome, all local, and all full of knowledge of "Secret" places to go and do things, thanks Debbie! I could go on but suffice it to say that the whole staff is wonderful!
Free Happy hour for guest from 530 till 730 is really good. Drinks free is always good. Food is good. Rooms are modern and clean. Suites are smaller then the older Embassies around the US but good. Staff is great. Very business.
Really enjoyed the visit. Hotel was clean, modern, and not too far from Honolulu. Breakfast buffet was good with made to order omelettes an accessories. Pancakes one day, French toast the next. Happy hour was nice as well.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food in this very nice restaurant. They took a dozen or so items and nailed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was my first visit and it was very enjoyable. I'll be back.
The building is of course, brand new and lends itself to comfort and efficiency. Comfort, because of the regular amenities, bed, chairs, small refrigerator and microwave, and efficient because of its location, and proximity to transit and freeways. In the Embassy Suites tradition, the outer sitting room is comfortable, and large enough to have a few friends over to review your plans for the day.
I could go on, but I'll just say that my wife and I are already checking our calendars to see when we can get back there and see our new friends at the Embassy Suites, Kapolei.
