Super slow. Came in at 10 am Saturday morning and it took 30 minutes to get a single coffee. There were at least 5 people working but they only had 1 register open and preferred to let customers wait a ridiculous
The really slow ("laid back") service makes this place seem incredibly popular but after waiting in line for a half hour just to place your order, then take a seat at a dirty table and wait for it to arrive, you realize you don't feel like it should be popular. I saw two separate potential customers leave because of the line, so they're losing money hand over fist by not speeding up a little. Nice food though. Good things come to those who wait?...
The taste is amazing, though the prices are high and customer service is low. I got three drinks and two bowls for 40 USD. Our bowls sat on the counter, finished with the lids on, for 8 minutes before they gave them to us. They started & finished the next two people’s orders (David and Shelby’s bagels and bowls) before they gave them to us. After they delivered David’s order we asked “Can you hand us our bowls? They’re sitting right there” and they said “When I get to it”, so. They also didn’t give us spoons in our to-go order of bowls.
Customer service is great but when asked if we wanted our banana bread heated up,we say yes. then when we received it, it's still refrigerator cold. Sad.this happens everytiime we went since 2016. Now Nov 2017.
Adding that the line took 20 min to get through and the person in front of me left because of the wait. Photo is of the Cacao Moana Bowl. I got the vintage frozen coffee and it was great.
What a great breakfast place. The papaya yogurt is so good. The ham and croissant sandwich is so good. Try coffee and lattes are so good. Ok, you get it. Its all really good here. Solid 5 stars.
