My expectations were high for this restaurant but I was quickly disappointed. Service was slow, and unorganized. We asked to see a wine menu, and apparently they only have one which for some unknown reason took 20 minutes to find. Next I felt cheated because I ordered a 2014 bottle of wine and only after I had a few sips and inspected the bottle did I see I had been brought at 2016. No waiter ever mentioned the one I ordered was not the one I was brought, but it sure was the same price! The food was very salty, and cold by the time it was brought out. I ordered the mahi mahi that was ruined by a lobster sauce that made it taste overly fishy and almost rotten. This was my families last night in Hawaii and we thought we were going to be celebrating at a nice restaurant. Instead we were served less than average food after an hour of waiting and I couldn’t believe the bill amount at the end. Everything was INSANELY over priced. I will pay good money for good food but as I said before I felt cheated by this place. Would not recommend to anyone!!! Please save your money and time and do not go here.
We always sit at the bar to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. Great place to meet up with friends visiting from the mainland. Bartenders are always happy to suggest drinks and menu items and are very attentive... The Old Fashioned is our favorite.. it is incredibly smooth. Sangria is perfect, not too sweet. The bar menu is just right. Be prepared to drop some serious cash if you don't keep track of your drinks!
The food was not good. I ordered the salmon and it was not seasoned nor cooked well, as you would expect from a high end restaurant in the 4 seasons. I also asked for sautéed spinach and I got field greens seemingly pulled out of the backyard. Waiter took it away and allowed to select something else. I chose the snapper. While the fish was good and more seasoned and better cooked than the salmon, it had too many strange vegetables on top of the fish, taking away from the fish itself. Also did not like how the waiter continued to allow us to order for our 5 year old, when she was clearly asleep. Total bill $210. We will not be returning to that place unless they get a new chef. Not recommended.
I went there on Thursday with my husband and the food was great. Today Sunday I checked in at 6:12 PM and were seated at 7:00 PM. We left at 9:30 PM not because we were talking but because it took them forever to bring our food out. It took them 1hrs 15 min. I ordered The spicy seafood stew, it was cold and had a fishy smell. I chose not to complain because they were busy but the lady next to us complained about her food and they offer her free of charge. I was ok with that, we gave them $40 + tip because we are polite. They called my cell phone and my room to ask me to go down and sign the receipt. I told them I already signed it. It was very rude on their behalf. They did not live up to their name/reviews today. Not recommended.
Lovely outdoor seating where you can feel the wind from Pacific Ocean. Coconut Fried Shrimp, Corn with Chopstick, French fries and Strawberry smoothie are good. Booking is required to get good seat
