Kris and Freddie were so good at taking care of us, from food and drink recommendations to just making us feel at home! Poke and Kailua pig nachos are the best!
This place was the beginning a of a great Hawaiian vacation. We absolutely loved the food and the vibe here. The owner Adam was very nice and Kris and Freddie were awesome servers who were very attentive and suggested great dishes....all were delicious from the Poke Bowl to the Kalua Pig Nachos. Top it off with a great Long Island Ice Tea. We had to go back and this time we were treated with live music from Corey. A must for a great meal experience!
Amazing food! Everything we had was great. Came back the very next day to try more. We weren't disappointed at all. Staff is incredibly friendly. I plan on being a regular.
My roommate has been trying to get me to go to this place for months since he saw the name. With no knowledge of the place besides the fact that it has tavern in the name we came to try the food. It was absolutely fantastic! We ordered a pound of clams, Kalua Pig Nachos, and dirty rice (garlic fried rice). Our servers were very friendly and the food was very filling. As far as prices go on island I thought they were decently priced. I'm definitely planning of coming back here again.
Food is pretty decent. Service is so-so. Cool concept, and much needed on the West Side, but execution leaves something to be desired.
