Ambiance was tropical, beach-side paradise with a beautiful view of the ocean. Open air dining, service was spot on. Food... absolutely delicious. We tried multiple dishes and all were fantastic. Succulent scallops, mouth watering strip steak, unusual and yummy with a hint of the sea. Deserts are beautiful and delicious. A must try when in Hawaii.
Sure the rest of their food is fine, but this dish has mouthwatering lobster, avocados, large tomatoes, bacon, and a fruit bowl on the side. I've been at least once for each of the five times I've taken my travel groups to Aulani. Highly recommend!
Service and ambiance. Disney booked a corporate event on the beach right in front of the restaurant. We were forced to listen to cheesy music that included a 15 minute rendition of "Sweet Home Alabama". Love the song, but come on. I didn't fly to Hawaii to have a romantic dinner in a place like this to watch a beach event with bright lights and annoying music for an hour and half. Service was friendly but delayed. Upon letting the server know of the issue brought nothing but the check. Telling the manager on the way out brought nothing more than the information that this has been an issue in the past.
Wonderful food, service and setting. A bit on the pricey side but worth it.
The pictures don’t do it justice, but the food was fantastic. Not cheap but I wouldn’t expect it to be as a Disney restaurant. The merus crab legs were especially good. I would definitely eat here again, but would love to catch it in the daylight as the view looked amazing.
There is only one reason to go to this restaurant: their breakfast lobster sandwich.
