Great show and location. This is about a 30 minute drive from the hotels, you have the beach in the background. They also roast the pig in the ground. The night we went there were 700 people there. This is advertised as all you can eat. As you line up to eat you are handed 1 plastic lunch room plate. We sat in general seating and by the time our tables were called to eat they were already out the of some food items (chicken teriyaki, salmon). When we asked if more would be brought out, we were told no. Eat before you come. The entertainment was nice.
Very disappointed that we wasted a ton of money on this. Definitely would have preferred to just have cold pizza or a TV dinner for Christmas Eve!
The food was very bland but there seemed to be plenty. We went up early as we thought they called our bus number but were embarrassed when they actually hadn't called us. We couldn't hear/understand what they were saying.
Really enjoyed our whole experience!! From the bus ride there with Donna our amazing host, to the varied and exciting show and music. My whole family including my teenagers really loved it. Considering they were feeding 500 the food wasn’t too bad at all and there was certainly plenty of it. Haven’t been to the other Luau’s in Hawaii so have nothing to compare to but I’d certainly recommend it to people as a great night out!
Great fun!! Took my family here when they visited! We got the plumeria package and loved it! They served us ALOT of food (instead of the buffet) but if we wanted seconds we were able to get some but we didn’t need it! We got 3 free alcoholic drink each and we just bought the $10 drink cup so they filled it up each time. Only downfall is that I couldn’t really hear the host when he wasn’t on stage and the picnic tables started hurting my butt after a while! The location is weird but the view is beautiful.
The fire act was nice but due to the seating arrangements, you can't actually see!
Don't waste your money on this!
This luau is great. The food is really good and filling. This show is fun. If you buy a tiki cup for $10 you basically get 2 drinks for the price of one. They fill the cups with the drinks and the drinks are much bigger then the standard drinks.
We went to this place Christmas Eve and was highly disappointed. As other people mentioned, we found that they try to incorporate Vegas style acts which just doesn't fit. The MC's tried to be funny however, just really didn't have what it took.
