Poor service, initially ordered take out then changed mind due to kids being excessively hungry. Staff was visibly upset that we did this and we received poor service afterwards. Food was typical for Mexican food in Hawaii.
First, the chips were stale. Second, the food was not good quality. It was expensive, and service was slow. The only good thing was the Fried Ice Cream!
Yummy!...love the cheese chille relleno and horchata....also cant go wrong with the shredded pork chimichanga...
My advice...Go somewhere else! Honestly, the food was so disappointing.
we used to go here but the service is terrible. Brought 1 little dish of salsa with a basket of chips and when I asked for another salsa they charge $1.50. I couldn't believe it because I like to have the salsa with my meal but not if the dish is that tiny...not even enough for the chips. Never will go back.
The service is pretty good, but just as some of the other reviews say, the food is just "ok". There aren't too many other Mexican options near by, so if that's what you are craving, it will fit the bill, but don't set your expectations too high.
