Honeslty took forever to get through line . Since they like take their time with their clients and talk story when theirs a long line waiting in the back.
The employees are super friendly. I know everyone thinks that the employees at all DMVS are blah but that's just cause they have to deal with angry, mean people all day. For the 4 times that's I've been there I always smiled and asked how they're day was going and they'd smile back and talk story with me. It's the attitude that you bring there that sets the tone for everyone else. I give them 5 stars because they're friendly and I've never had a problem there.
I took the motorcycle permit test 4 times and failed each time. It wasn't until the last time that I asked to see which ones I missed, so I can better focus my studying, that I discovered that the answer keys are wrong. The first 2 questions that were marked wrong, were actually correct. When I brought it to their attention their response was, "We just issue the tests and don't deal with any answer disputes." So basically, they're saying, "Take our test but don't bother reading the ACTUAL manual because you have to answer the some of the questions wrong... good luck figuring out which ones!"
Sad no one answers the phone today if not that I’m listening to a robot none of my questions were answered sitting and counting
On a positive note, despite having to deal with hundreds of people daily, the staff working the windows were somewhat cheerful. So mahalo for your ALOHA.
Went there to renew my drive's license and it was certainly an ordeal experience. Parking in their lot was a bit of a nightmare with all the cars circling and only a limited amount of available stalls. I suggest finding street parking, as it is plentiful. Once inside, fill out the renewal application. I would suggest filling out and printing the renewal application online prior to going there, it may save you a few minutes. After filling the app, stand in line to process the paper work and get an approval for the renewal. Then stand in another line to pay the cashier for the new license. And yet again, stand in another line to get a picture taken for the new license. A total of three different lines with a wait of about 20-30 minutes per line. Luckily for me it didn't appear to be extremely busy. If you're renewing or getting a state ID, give yourself at least 2-3 hours to complete the entire process.
And as a warning, the renewal window closes right at 4:00. Even if you're in line prior to 4:00 and you aren't at the renewal window, you will have to come back another day. There were several people there that were disappointed because of this.
