It was great if you like the sound of forklifts and the smell of fuel from the junk yard directly behind the beach. Couldn't get in the water due to excessive rock and to top it off, a homeless guy taking a shower. Plenty of parking though!
With all the amazing beaches and parks on the westside, I don't know why people would come here. It is next door to industrial businesses which let off terrible smell. The bathrooms are disgusting. If you go here after 3pm, there's usually a bunch of guys just drinking beer and being obnoxious. I helped my photographer friend do a shoot here in the past and those guys just stood on the side and stared at the model. They kept making unnecessary remarks.
The beach used to be nice but the industrial encroachment and recycling center next to it has allowed the beach to fall into unkept status and trashy

Nice quiet secluded beach. Good for shell picking if you walk toward the left of the shoreline all the way down the trail opposite from lighthouse. Beautiful at sunset. Aside from the smell from the junk yard sometimes. Locals were friendly !!!
