Surf spot can be good, parking is a little rough on weekends. Lots of homeless types, no real area to set up tent/sunshade and bbq. Best for quick trips to the beach, not good for large parties. Somewhat clean. Typical public restrooms.
It was a simple and small beach right beside highway 93 west. But it's very easily accessed and a great place to spend an evening. They had some good waved while we were there and a beautiful view of the sunset. Most of the beach is sand but once you go further out it turns into big rocks. I personally recommend water shoes. Water is a little colder than the south shores but still very comfortable.

Tracks.is a beautiful beach, great for families. Perfect for snorkeling, the reef is almost up to the edge of the water, lots of colorful fish in the reef to look at.
If you're okay with beaches that have tons of exposed rocks in the water, then this is still a very nice beach. I love coming here just to relax on the beach. It seems to be a bit more of a locals only vibe, but oh well.
